General George Patton was one of the most colorful Gen.s of the Second World War which inturn gave him the nickname ââ¬Å"old blood and gutsâ⬠(Patton history channel).In this paper I will show you the many interesting fact a bout Patton. George Patton was born in San Gabriel in California in the year 1885 He was educated ââ¬Å"at the U.S. Military Academyâ⬠(Patton,George Smith Encarta).In 1909 at his graduation ââ¬Å"he was commissioned as a second lieutenantâ⬠(Patton,George ENCARTA 1of 1) In 1917 he served as ââ¬Å"aide-e-camp to the American general John Pershing On Pershings expedition to Mexicoâ⬠(Patton Encarta 1 of 1). However,in France during WWI Patton opened a ââ¬Å" tank training school and commanded a Tank brigadesâ⬠(Patton, ENCARTRA 1 of 1).
